Tecmetrics is currently seeking a new member of our team who is interested
in taking that next big step in their career as one of our Senior Consultants.
This individual will be responsible for going to client sites and executing
projects as well as performing network assessments and presenting/selling their
plans to the clients.
Candidate will be involved in planning, executing, administering and documenting
the following areas:
* Windows2003/2008 Servers.
* Active Directory networks
* DNS, DHCP, FSMO roles, Group Policies, Security,
etc.
* Server Virtualization
* Principally VMware
* SAN implementations
* Exchange2003/2007/2010 Servers.
* Backups
* Principally Backup Exec and Zenith
* Virus and Spam Prevention.
* Maintaining service levels as defined by management, including disaster
recovery preparedness, inventory, etc.
* Taking a client-facing lead role in overall IT infrastructure design and
implementation.
* Troubleshooting and providing top-level support for end user support
functions.
* Regularly assess and communicate client’s current and future technological
needs.
Job Requirements:
* 5+ years of experience in IT support/Consulting
* Project Management Experience
* Microsoft Certifications strongly preferred
* Strong VMWare Experience
* SQL experience strongly preferred
* Firewall experience a plus
* Compellent SAN Experience a plus
* Strong writing and reliable IT documentation skills
* Projects a professional and polished image that inspires confidence and trust
by our clients
* Outstanding communication skills
* Exudes self-confidence and inspires confidence in others
* Must be able to work independently
* Must possess a strong aptitude for a fast-paced multi-tasking work environment
* Mentor other consultants in all facets of the consulting arena from technical
to presentations
